Artsy Sunday

Sunday Funday you say? Sunday is family day at the Smith house. We love lazy Sunday mornings. This morning Eric golfed, so Mason came and hopped into bed with me to watch cartoons. Snuggles and pure bliss! But those lazy mornings can quickly turn into lazy afternoons if you let them, so we finally got up and going! There was just too much going on in Las Vegas this weekend to waste the day away! It's festival season apparently! In the past few weeks we've already hit up the San Gennaro Italian festival, Wild Fest, and the Summerlin Pumpkin festival. This weekend there was a Renaissance Festival going on, but we stuck to our neck of the woods and went to the annual Summerlin Arts Festival. We go every year. There's always a great collection of local artists of all kinds, great food, and entertainment. One of Mason's favorite parts is the chalk art. People of all ages purchase small squares of sidewalk to draw their masterpiece. The Art Festival is just an awesome time to venture out into the community and enjoy the FABULOUS weather we're having right now. We had a ball!

The ice sculpting from Le Cordon Bleu was so cool!

And we finished our day with frozen yogurt!

Then it was back home to a delicious pork tenderloin in the crockpot (full post with that yummy recipe later!). What a perfect Las Vegas Sunday. Feeling truly blessed!
I mean, does it get any better that this?

P.S - What did I wear? Black maxi skirt from Target (where else?), and H&M sweater, Charming Charlie necklaces. I slacked on the outfit pics! Oops!
