Summer Scarves

Scarves are one of my absolute favorite accessories, and they're not just for winter! Granted, living in Las Vegas where it gets up to 115 degrees in the summer it can be a hard trend to wear, but on vacation in Colorado it's much more comfortable. This floral scarf is one of my favorites.

Lightweight fabrics, colorful and floral patterns, there's lots of options to keep your scarf game strong during the warmer months. I started my online search on Target's website, and guess what? I didn't make it any farther! Target is my favorite place to pick up fun little pieces here and there, and you cannot beat the prices. So many cute scarves....it was really hard to narrow it down to just a few favorites. Here are some of the options I've got my eye on!

Blush and Camo

I just have to say right off the bat, that this super inexpensive camo tshirt from Target (of course) is one of my absolute favorite wardrobe items currently. It is so soft, and so comfortable, I wish I had it in multiple colors and patterns. (P.S.-Is camo over yet? I guess I don't care, because I love this tshirt!)

As always with camo for me I have to girl it up a bit, so on this particular day I paired my tee with an old pair of blush skinnies that are also super comfy. A pair of wedges, clutch and blingy necklace completed this casual look for me.

Must-Have Midi Skirts

My recent post on my favorite hot pink midi skirt (here) got me on one huge skirt kick. I'm kind of having a moment with the midi right now. It's great dressed up with heels, or for running around during the day with sandals. They are so flirty and feminine, how could you not be a fan? My FAVORITE Skirt.....Ever.

I bought this fabulous hot pink damask pattern party skirt at one of my favorite local boutiques last spring, and I have lost track of how many times I have worn it since. I might be just a little bit obsessed, but seriously, how cute is this skirt? I've worn it everywhere from church, to the ballet, to brunch. It can literally work for every occasion. I might need an intervention.

Happy Fourth of July!

I have been completely absent from blog land lately, and I promise that will change very soon! But in the meantime, I wish everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend. Remember why we celebrate this holiday, and I hope we can all appreciate that we live in the greatest county in the world! Happy Fourth y'all!
